Jenn

Jenn is a practice-trained accountant with nearly 20 years' experience supporting SMEs across tech, creative, hospitality, and professional services.

After starting her finance career ‘by accident’ back in Canada, Jenn discovered both a talent and a real enjoyment for accounting. Since then she has built a career within practice, managing portfolios of clients and leading junior teams on bookkeeping, VAT, payroll, and month-end reporting. She is AAT and part-ACCA qualified, working steadily toward her chartered status.

Jenn is known for combining strong technical skills with the ability to pick up new systems quickly and work through complex client clean-ups with care and structure. From onboarding new clients and fixing inherited messes to producing complete year-end accounts and management reporting packs, she brings a detailed, methodical approach to every stage of the accounting process. As one client put it: 'Jenn has literally been a lifesaver. I don’t know how I would manage without her.'

She has worked remotely for more than a decade and confidently manages workflows, oversees other bookkeepers, and liaises directly with clients, accountants, and tax advisors. Her experience includes reviewing and submitting VAT returns, payroll and management accounts. She is confident using Xero, QuickBooks, FreeAgent, and a range of cloud practice tools.
