Joanna

Joanna is an AAT Level 4 qualified finance professional with over 15 years' experience running end-to-end accounting operations across hospitality, property, charities, and creative businesses.

Her clients describe her as reliable, creative under pressure, and always willing to push herself to achieve company and personal goals. She started her career in South Africa, where she spent a decade as Group Accountant in the food services industry, overseeing financial reporting, payroll for 300 staff, and the rollout of an integrated food management system that improved financial reporting and audit preparation.

After relocating to the UK, Joanna has combined senior finance roles with freelance client work, including building automated workflows for a family-run property business using QuickBooks, Stripe, and engineering integrations to remove manual admin and improve profitability.

She is experienced in Xero, QuickBooks, Sage, and cloud-based finance systems, and brings deep capability across payroll, VAT, audit liaison, and month-end and year-end processes.
